Project Review – SEO and SEM for All Digital Rewards

In my role focusing on marketing and SEO for All Digital Rewards (ADR), one of my first major long-term projects was to improve the site’s SEO (Search Engine Optimization) and implement a SEM (Search Engine Marketing) campaign.

This review will cover my first 3 years at All Digital Rewards from June 2018 to June of 2021.

Steps Taken:

  • Market Research:
    • Discussed target market with CEO and Sales Team
    • Researched keywords and topics specific to target market
    • Reviewed google analytics data to see what content had been most effective in the past
    • Developed a content strategy to reach the target market
  • Blogs, Articles, Case Studies, & White Papers:
    • Wrote blogs, Articles, Case Studies, & White Papers specific to target market with a total word count of nearly 40,000 words and an average word count of 767 per blog.
  • Page Copy Improvement:
    • Revised the copy for the website pages to optimize for relevant keywords.
  • Improved site health:
    • Revised site headings, added alt tags, and made other improvements to help with site speed, accessibility, and general health. See more under my website redesign project review HERE.
  • Reviewed analytics for ongoing optimization efforts
    • Reviewed and reported on site analytics
    • Examined results and adjusted strategy where needed

Results:

  • 281% increase in organic traffic 
  • 588% increase in organic keywords 
  • 200% increase in organic keywords ranked in the top 3 for Google Search 
  • 137% increase in organic keywords ranked in the top 10 for Google Search 
  • 166% increase in organic keywords ranked in the top 20 for Google Search
